Road and Mountain Biking

Judging by the hoards of Strava reports, the lower portion of Syncline (Moab, Maui and the doubletrack) is ready to ride and in good shape. There’s still mud and scattered snow on the Brown House portion. Other local trails are still snow-covered. Some options that might work for you: Klickitat Trail. Deschutes River Trail. Columbia Hills State Park is a giant “possibly?”. The road biking and gravel grinding will be excellent if you can tolerate a bit of east wind.

Upcoming Events

It’s Tuesday. There’s Zen meditation at Trinity Body Arts at 6am, free yoga at HAVEN in The Dalles at 5:30pm, and meditation with the Pacific Hermitage Monk(s) at 6:30pm at Yoga Samadhi in White Salmon. On Saturday at 9am, there’s a work party at the Nichols Natural Area (also known as the Nichols Boat Basin).
