For almost 30 years, Temira (they/them) has been making the most of the Gorge: riding river swell, shredding powder, and cycling all the gravel and pavement and trails. This is Temira’s playground, their gym… their life’s work.

Good morning!
Mountain Weather Forecast
Happy last week of April. It’s still snowing on Mt. Hood. The snow level will be around 3000’ today, rising to 3500’ late in the day. We’ll see 3-4” this morning before the snow tapers to flurries this afternoon, and then we’ll get another 3-4” overnight. Winds will be W 15-20mph today.
Tomorrow brings flurries and maybe some sunbreaks. The wind will be SW 10-15 early, buidling to 20-25 by noon and 30-35 by 4pm. Total accumulation during the day will be 1-2”, but we’ll get 5-7” overnight into Thursday morning. The snow level will be at 2000-3000’.
By Thursday morning the snow level drops to 1500’, with heavy snow through 5am and flurries after, with heavier snowfall overnight. We’ll get about 3” after 5am. Winds will be WSW 30-35 in the morning, switching to W 30-35 by 2pm.
Friday looks cold and windy with several inches of new snow in the morning.
The weekend looks warm and sunny. At least for now.
Gorge Wind Forecast
This morning starts out light, with gusty westerlies in the 13-15 range this afternoon through the entire Gorge. Tomorrow morning looks light as an upper level low rotates off the coast. Winds will pick up to 17-20 in the afternoon east of Rowena, and gusty 13-15 from Stevenson to Mosier. Thursday holds the potential for a big day out east, but we’ll have to wait and see how the timing works out. It’s much nicer if the strong wind happens during daylight hours.
