Gorge Wind Forecast

Weak weather systems swing through the Gorge as moderately strong offshore high pressure keeps the gusty westerlies going. For today, we’ll have showers and westerlies, leading to extra gusties. Morning wind will be 11-14 most places with 24-27 in the far east and from Viento to Swell. Afternoon wind will be 11-14 in the west and to the edge of the showers with 25-29 near Arlington. River flow is 64,400cfs, temp is 60, and high temp forecast is 62.

Monday starts with 21-24 from Viento to Arlington. Afternoon wind holds in the west and picks up to 24-28 from Avery to Boardman with scattered sprinkles and gusty wind west of The Dalles. Tuesday starts with light west wind. Afternoon westerlies pick up to 11-14 from Stevenson to Mosier. Westerlies continues on Wednesday, and then we see a lasting switch to easterlies through the weekend.
