Gorge Wind
Friday morning wind: light westerly. The wind will switch around to light easterly midday, hanging that way through the evening. Saturday starts with light east wind. Easterlies build to 20-25 in the afternoon. Sunday starts with 20-25 near Stevenson and 30-35 near Rooster. The wind bounces around a bit during the day as a weak wave drops through from the north, but generally speaking, we get 30-40 all day. Monday looks like E 25-30, and Tuesday starts easterly and turns to W 21-24 as offshore high pressure builds.
JONES, SAUVIE’S, COAST: now on vacation for the fall and winter. Will return in spring.

Road and Mountain Biking
Silly rabbit… it’s not biking season in the Gorge. It’s XC skiing and BC skiing season! And Gorge Backcountry skiing. Remember, avalanche hazard does exist in the Gorge too. Be safe, and be wise in your decision making. Dig pits. Avoid wind-loaded steep slopes.
