Gorge Wind Forecast
Moderate westerlies continue for parts of the next few days. There will also be plenty of time for light wind activities. For Wednesday, a weak weather system impacts the Northwest. This gives us Viento as the windy spot (always when a system is moving through). The rest of the western Gorge starts Wednesday at 8-11. East of The Dalles, you’ll find 20-23 this morning. As the day progresses, the wind will fade, eventually ending up light westerly or light and variable. River flow is 130kcfs and temp is 40 degrees.Thursday starts with E 10-15. As a weather system arrives in the afternoon, the wind turns around and picks up to gusty westerlies at 18-22 from Stevenson to Arlington. Friday starts with W 7-10 through the whole Gorge. The wind drops to light and variable in the afternoon. As of right now, Saturday looks like W 22-25 and Sunday looks light and variable.
