For almost 30 years, Temira (they/them) has been making the most of the Gorge: riding river swell, shredding powder, and cycling all the gravel and pavement and trails. This is Temira’s playground, their gym… their life’s work.

This passion led Temira to take a vow: In 2006, Temira decided to provide the most accurate, hyper-local weather forecasts possible. Today, Temira’s forecasts have become an essential resource for thousands of skiers, snowboarders, wind sports enthusiasts and Gorge commuters. With Temira’s guidance, you can plan ahead, time your sessions perfectly, and just plain have more fun! But the story doesn’t end there.

Good morning,

Mt. Hood’s weather today should be quite mellow and boring with high clouds and the freezing level rising to 7500’ or so. We’ll see some variety of east wind in the 20-25 range for much of the day, swinging around to the SW late in the day at 20-30. No precip.

No precip tomorrow, with the freezing level at 8000’ or so. It’ll be clear in the morning with high clouds in the afternoon. Wind will be SW 15-20, rising to 20-25 mid-morning.

Tuesday brings high clouds and the freezing level around 8000-9000’ with SW wind at 15-20.

We’ll see clouds Wednesday morning with the snow level around 7000’. It’ll drop to 6000’ by 11am and 4500’ by 2pm with SE wind at 15-20 early, becoming light, and then switching to W 15-20. We’ll see a bit of rain mixed with snow from this system, followed by several inches of snow.

Windsurfers and kiters: East wind at 30ish today. Light wind Monday. Light wind Tuesday. West wind at 21-24 on Wednesday.

Events: CGORA ride at Pine Mont from 9am-noon today. CGORA’s meeting tomorrow at Watson Performance from 7pm-8pm. Hood River County Trails meeting 4pm at six-oh-one State street on Tuesday. $19.37 tickets at Timberline all next week with lodging specials, drink specials, and $10 tickets if you dress retro.
