Ever try to get in to see your chiropractor, only to be told you’re waiting a few days? Every been hurt on a Saturday? Hood River Chiropractic, located downtown above Flow Yoga, can help you out. Docs Michelle and Alex (who rips Post Canyon all the time) can get you in, even on a Saturday. These two understand you don’t want to slow down because you’re hurt. They’ll work with you to formulate a recovery plan that allows you to keep doing the things you love (like ride Post). They take insurance, they offer cash discounts, and they’ll make sure you get the treatment you need. Finally, if you need some supplements (no, not EPO or HGH), they’ll do customized nutritional analysis to make sure you’re only getting the supps you really need. To book an appointment, give them a call: 541-406-0849. Two of the lucky people on the email version of this forecast will win free chiropractic appointments this week.

In happy, happy news, we got some rain overnight. According to Hood River Weather we only got .06”, probably not enough to rescue our dusty trails, but any rain is good rain at this point.

As for the wind, it’s going to start off light again today, with westerlies in the 5-10 range this morning. Things will pick up a bit by midday, with the wind hitting 16-19 from Stevenson to Mosier and then filling in near Rowena in the upper teens in the afternoon. Of course, these thunderstorms need to clear out first…

Coming up tomorrow, we’re going to see a better push of marine air into Portland, and that should bump the wind up a bit. The morning will start off with 15-18 near Hood River, building to 22-24 from Stevenson out to Doug’s in the afternoon.

The Clymb: free membership.
Access to super cheap gear including Trew, Zeal, Sierra Designs, and many more.

Sunday looks like another light wind day, but the overall wind picture starts improving on Monday with a classic Gorge setup and plenty of wind.

If you have a tandem bike, you’ll want to grab your sweetie and head to 10 Speed at 5:30 tonight for Tandems de Friday, a fairly casual ride around the valley with a reward after: Margaritas (no, I don’t know if it’s Taqueria or El Puerto, but at least you’re riding, not driving).

This weekend is going to be pretty busy around here. On Saturday, it’s the West Coast Subaru Rally at the Skamania Fairgrounds down in Stevenson. And while you’re on your way down there, make sure to stop at the Bigfoot Bash and Bounty in Home Valley. Also on Saturday, during the day, there’s the Cabrinha kiteboard race. Meet at 9:30 at the Sandbar if you want to compete. Coming up Saturday afternoon, it’s Northwave’s annual customer appreciation party down at their loft on the water, and then Saturday evening, it’s the movie Patagonia Rising at Columbia Center for the Arts.

If you’re not tired out by Sunday, you can head to Mosier for pickup touch rugby at the Mosier School at 4pm.

And finally, the White Salmon is currently at 2.4 feet.
Have an awesome day today!
