Good morning!
More sunny, boring weather on the way. Today, Sunday, looks like a carbon copy of yesterday: Inversion, temps rising a few degrees above freezing from 4000’-8000’ and E/SE wind at 5-10mph.
Monday may bring some high clouds, but the temperature profile looks similar to today. Just above freezing from 4000’-8000’ with SE wind at 10-15.
Tuesday starts off clear, becoming cloudy in the evening as a weak front brushes the PNW. We’ll have that same inversion in the morning, but we’ll see the free air freezing level go to 6000’ late in the afternoon with west wind at 10-15. We may see a few flurries overnight into Wednesday morning.
Wednesday will have high clouds or partly cloudy conditions in the morning, with the snow level at 4500’ early and west wind at 5-10mph. We’ll see a chance of a few inches of snow during the day on Wednesday, but the way things are trending, we may not see anything at all.
The weather looks to stay dry and sunny through next weekend, but some models are showing a return to wetter, more seasonal weather next weekend.
In the meantime, you windsurfers and kiters can enjoy strong east wind today and tomorrow, a break on Tuesday, and a likely return to strong east wind in the latter part of the week.
Have a great day today!
