Good morning!
First off today, upcoming events:
On Saturday, 2nd Wind, IPS and Timberline present the Hood River Downtown Showdown, a rail jam on 4th Street. Thatโs Saturday from 5pm to 10pm. Thereโs going to be music and beer at the Pub, where youโll have a great view of the action. Itโs not often you get to see the best of the best riding rails in downtown HR, so youโd better show up and check this out!
On Sunday, Meadows hosts the NW Demo Tour, where you can try a big pile of ski and snowboard gear for free. Unfortunately, itโs not looking like a powder day for you to test all those cool phat skisโฆ =(
Speaking of skis and snowboards, the forecast doesnโt look great for the weekend. Saturday looks like .5-.75โ of water value, with snow levels around 7000 feet. Sunday looks like .5โ water value, with snow levels around 6500 feet. On the bright side, you wonโt be fighting people to try out all that gearโฆ
In other recreation news, mountain biking is done for now, with trails slushy, snowy and muddy. Road biking is treacherous, with gravel and slush on the roads.
I believe the stairs are still in good shape, if you are desperate for a workout! I amโฆ
Have a great day today, and Iโll see you at the Rail Jam tomorrow night!
