Good morning!

The weather gods are providing us with another sunny, beautiful day today!

We’ll see sunshine all day, with some clouds moving in this evening. Mt. Hood winds will be NE 30-40 this morning, fading to N 15-25 by 4pm. The freezing level will be around 5000’ early, rising to 7000’ by 4pm and holding tonight.

Tomorrow starts off cloudy, becoming partly cloudy by midday and clearing in the afternoon. Early morning wind will be NW 25-35, backing to N 20-30 by 10am and holding for the rest of the day.

Saturday looks sunny and cool. The freezing level will be 1000’ early, rising to 4000’ in the afternoon. Mt. Hood wind will be N 15-20 early, becoming light N in the afternoon.

Sunday also looks sunny, with the freezing level at 6000’ early, rising to 7500’ by 4pm. The wind will be NW 15-25 early, becoming light and variable in the afternoon.

Models are in disagreement for next week, but it looks like the next chance of any precipitation is on Tuesday or Wednesday.

In Gorge wind news, today looks light. As a weak system swing through overnight, westerlies pick up, and we should start off the day tomorrow with W 22-24 near Hood River, fading by 2pm. Saturday brings light east wind. Sunday brings W 21-24. If the forecast holds for Monday and Tuesday, it’s going to be summer-like around here. Strong high pressure off the coast combines with weak high pressure in the desert for low to mid-twenties on Monday and upper twenties to low thirties on Tuesday, all near Hood River, giving you a chance to try out Kite Beach, WA.

Have an awesome day today!
