Extremely imaginative menu and well prepared food. We often decide to just eat appetizers/tapas/salads/soups so we can sample as many different flavors and preparations as possible and I think this was the first time that a restaurant provided so many offerings in this category that we couldn't even sample all that we were interested in--and the main courses were extremely intriguing too ! And Jamal, our server, did a great job on a very busy night. We're up here on our annual multi- week wind surfing trip to the Gorge and while Hood River has great restaurants, this is easily worth the trip across the bridge--or up from Portland. Give it a try. And drinks. At reasonable prices. I brought in a crew of 10 portland friends for a bday dinner a few nights after they opened and they were all blown away. I've been back several times since and it's only gotten better. Christiaan is one of the most talented creative chefs in the region. Go. Awesome quality food. And drinks. At reasonable prices.
