8-Mile

Another cool trail off the 44 Road. This is a 6.2 mile trail in the vicinity of many other trails.

Directions:  From Hood River, head 31 miles south on highway 35 to forest road 44 on the left. Drive up the 44 Road 5.4 miles to the Bottle Prairie trailhead on the left. (1 hour drive time or so)

8-Mile is open and clear of snow and downed trees for the 2010 season as of 5/31. Go get it!
