New York City Sub Shop
Good food fast! Not fast food! That’s what the menu says at New York City Sub Shop, and that’s what you’ll get. A half sandwich is 8″ of greasy, delicious sandwichy goodness. A full sandwich is 16″, and if that doesn’t satisfy you, you’re in deep trouble, and so are your arteries.
Don’t get me wrong, a grilled sandwich of melted cheese, meat and peppers isn’t exactly a salad, but it’s a lot better for you than a Big Mac (sorry, McDonalds). It probably tastes a lot better too.
Prices are not bad at all: $6.20 for a half sandwich and $11.20 for a whole. There are a couple of salads on the menu as well.
Andrew, the owner, is a hardcore mountain and road cyclist. Apparently New York City Subs are good fuel for hardcore athletes. I recommend you try one of those subs out and decide for yourself.
If you’ve been to NYCSS recently, please post a review below. Thanks!
