Hood River Taqueria

Inside. Outside. Inside. Outside. It doesn’t matter where you sit. A large bowl of complimentary chips and salsa will appear in front of you, ruining your appetite for all the other Mexican food on the menu.

Food at the Taqueria starts at $1.50 for a little taco and goes up to the mid teen $’s for the large plates. Somewhere in between is the Torta Cubana (Temira’s #1 favorite food in Hood River), the Mexican version of a big mac, containing 4 or 5 varieties of pork and various other unhealthy but delicious animal products.

The nachos come drowned in meat and fully-melted cheese, and the taco salad contains a good 1/2 pound of meat. It’s not exactly healthy, but it sure is filling.

To round off your belly-filling meal is a wide selection of tequila, and who can complain about that?

The taqueria is located at 1210 13th Street in Hood River. Hours are Sunday through Thursday 9:30am – 10pm, Friday and Saturday 9:30am to 11pm.
