Lilo’s Hawaiian BBQ

Lots of people from Hood River go to Hawaii. A lot of people from The Dalles must visit the islands too, as The Dalles has been supporting Lilo’s for a few years now.

Lilo’s is casual and kid-friendly, and large groups are welcome. Just call ahead.

The menu is basic: large portions of meat served with macaroni salad and sticky rice. You can also get the meat as a sandwich or over soba noodles, but why mess with a good thing like meat, macaroni salad, and sticky rice. It works in Hawaii, and it works in The Dalles too.

Lilo’s is open 11am to 9pm Monday through Saturday. They’re located at 508 E. 2nd Street in The Dalles.
