The Thirsty Woman

I went to college in Seattle, and spent a lot of time downtown. Maybe it’s for this reason that I always want to call the Thirsty Woman the Lusty Lady, even though the two places have nothing in common.

The Thirsty Woman is a great pub in Mosier. The Lusty Lady in Seattle, well, Google it. Anyway…

The yard at the Thirsty Woman is bigger than the pub, which is located in a tiny 1928 farmhouse. But tiny doesn’t mean miserable. On the contrary, the Thirsty Woman is cozy and comfortable, with a friendly crew of regulars who’ll welcome you. Despite being little, the Thirsty Woman boasts a big beer list: 16 microbrews on tap, along with other beer, wine, and hard cider.

The yard is a great place to hang out and enjoy the summer weather while you sip a beer and chow down on the delicious nachos.

Wednesday is “Kill the Keg” night with a rotating beer on special. Friday is ladies’ night. Thirsty Woman is located at 209 Main Street in Mosier, and is open 7 days a week at 4pm.

Consider riding your bike from Hood River. It’s only 7 miles each way from downtown…
