Thirsty Woman Restaurant has an ever-changing menu based around seasonal local ingredients. Some of Chef Barry Rumsey’s specials include Thai style mussels, Sashimi Tuna, the big Juicy Lucy burger or all natural Mt. Shadow Ranch Rib Eye. Prices range from $10 for small plates to $21 for the steak.

If you’re looking for a great place to eat outside, this is the spot. The patio is spacious and shady, with views of Good River’s garden, the Columbia River, and Syncline. The dining room is beautiful too, with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, and a warm, soothing color scheme.

If you’d just prefer to spend your calorie allotment on a glass of wine, stop at the wine bar and bottle bar, with over twenty wines by the glass.

Thirsty Woman Restaurant is open Wednesday through Saturday at 5pm and on Sunday for brunch from 9am to 2pm. Brunch is yummy, but the froo-froo drink bar in July and August is the best: Pina Coladas, strawberry daquiris and mango margaritas for breakfast. Mmmm…..
